The Concept:

Calibre Workforce are excited to partner with one of south-west Victoria’s leading hospitality players as they embark on a brand-new kitchen concept, CODA.

Their mission is to provide the very best food and wine with a focus on local and regional produce to create modern Asian food that comforts, satisfies and surprises.


The Position:

As a Sous Chef you will be core to delivering on our client’s mission. You will work collaboratively with the Head chef who brings extensive experience and a unique eye for pushing the boundaries of modern cuisine. You will directly lead the development and execution of the food program and have the opportunity to diversify your skill set across the whole spectrum of managing a newly conceived commercial kitchen.

You know the industry and what is expected of you. Our client is a bit different and is looking for a mix of skills and experience as well as personality and passion.


What you will need:

  • Trade qualifications.
  • A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry;
  • A track record performing in this position
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills;
  • The ability to work cooperatively and productively in a high-pressure environment;
  • A high level of hygiene standards and personal presentation; and
  • A genuine love for modern Asian cuisine.
