For all permanent appointments we offer a try before your hire option for all Chefs and Kitchen Staff. This enables both employers and candidates the best opportunity to get to know each other better before committing to an employment contract.

This process provides each party with a level of confidence when making those all important long-term employment decisions.

This safety net is applied to all candidates across the career spectrum; from a Senior Chef right through to an Apprentice or Kitchen Porter. During the probationary period the candidate is contracted to Calibre Workforce.

Once everyone is happy with the arrangement and wishes to proceed to a permanent engagement, we offer a very competitive placement fee structure.
